Volunteer Work Day

If you are looking for service hours or if you are looking to make an impact in the community, these low commitment, short work days are perfect for you. Join us at Camp Koinonia on a Saturday and partner up with others to help prepare camp for a busy summer ahead. You will need to complete a volunteer waiver, but other than that show up in work clothes and boots and we will be ready for you! Work for all ages available. Bring your son or daughter or come as a group.

MAY 1, 2021 @ CAMP KOINONIA | 9AM-12:00PM

FIREWISE, TREE DEBRIS & PAINTING

Projects will include cleaning up after a chainsaw crew by piling branches to be mulched, assisting in burn piles, raking paths and trimming trees. We are also painting our leadership cabin. Camp Koinonia will provide all the supplies and tools need to complete the projects, but if you have access to power tools, chainsaw w/ training etc we will utilize your gifts.

JUNE 5, 2021 @ CAMP KOINONIA | 9AM-12:00PM

TEAM BUILDING COURSE & PAINTING

Projects will include clearing space for our new team building course elements, building and testing new elements and hanging new signs for each element. We are also painting our horse training building. Camp Koinonia will provide all the supplies, however if you have extra tools such as cordless drills and pruners we would utilize them.

PROJECTS COMPLETION & PAINTING

We will be evaluating our projects as needed and adding a projects list based on the success of the previous work days. Be prepared to paint, work outside etc.
