Kevin Eichhorn

executive Director

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and recently lived in Columbus, Ohio and Cookeville, TN. We moved to Cle Elum in 2018 and live here with our 3 children Miles, Theodore and June. We enjoy playing board games, trivia, hiking trips, and visiting family. I continue to serve at my local church and have served in ministry since 2008.

My goal at Camp Koinonia is to constantly think of how we can model Christ’s example while serving thousands of people each year.

Melissa Hinton

Food Services Director

Growing up in the Seattle area, my family has always been involved in the ministry of camp Koinonia. I worked at camp every summer through high school. Hospitality and service are my calling and I am honored to live out this calling. I love the variety and uniqueness of our user groups and the positive impact of fellowship and community built by being at camp.

My goal as the Director of Food Services Is to partner in the success of every camp retreat by providing excellent meals and service for our guests. I look forward to adding new recipes and menus to the Koinonia kitchen!

Lexie Parrott

pROGRAM Director

Transplanted from the cornfields of Indiana, I’m excited to be making Camp Koinonia my new home. I began working here in 2023 but began my camping career in 2016. My background in the camp world has had me picking wild blueberries with campers in Maine, showing students how to dissect a squid in California, teaching kids about whales in Hawai’i, and coaching staff to make camp magical in western Washington and Michigan.

If I’m not at a campfire or on a trail, you can probably find me near the water playing. I’m on a mission to visit every national park (I’ve made it to 30 so far!) and I love a good road trip.

I am passionate about using camp experiences to help campers grow in character, discover new skills, and strengthen their faith. My goal is to build exceptional programs that will make these experiences accessible to as many people as possible.

Owen Kauahi

Facilities Director

Owen has been working with us since 2022 as our Facilities Director and Waterfront Director. He is a passionate member of our team who builds us new creations, updates our buildings, leads archery, kayaks and more. Every summer Owen volunteers as a leader for Adventure Camp and leads young men in their faith. Born and raised here in Washington, Owen is full of faith and worships at SALT at Mercer Creek in Ellensburg.

Megan B.

Hospitality Director

Megan has been working with us since 2022 as a housekeeping team member and now she will be running all housekeeping staff. In addition to keeping our camp beautiful, Megan will be creating fun crafts for our campers in the craft yurt.

Summer & Year-Round Staff

Our support staff are extremely important to our ministry. These leaders make it possible to have lifeguards, archery instructors, kitchen support and camp counselors.
